Canandaigua is a small mansion built by John Thompson, founder and president of what is now Citibank. The summer house is the focal point of a large piece of property complete with ponds, statues, and a large garden area.
Sonnenberg is a happening place now that it's a non-profit organization and historic site. Besides the steady stream of tourists, Sonnenberg hosts weddings, art fairs, and various other functions.
